Welcome Home Bradley

Bradley came home today and I dont know who was more excited to see him me or Katie. I thought she was getting use to being an only child, but She said "yea, bradley comes home today when I see him I want to give him a big kiss and a hug and tell him I missed him."We picked him up at his cousins house at about 2:00, I dont think I've ever gotten a bigger smile and hug from him than when I saw him today. They had so much fun. They built and stained a swing set, went camping and to the shooting range and on and on. We are glad you are home Bradley!

Dance Recital

So I promised a new video of the actual recital. Well here is where the disaster happens. My camera battery died right before her dance. It read full battery when we left the house so of course I did not grab the extra batteries I had bought. ARGGGHH! Here are just a couple pictures of her getting ready. She had to have a curly ponytail so we put curlers in the night before, Boy did that remind me of the good old days. Then there is a picture when we were leaving for the recital. She did a little better at actually dancing the dance, but she did a great job of singing the song. It was a song from Enchanted her new favorite princess movie.

Katies Comment

This was just sooo cute I had to share it. Katie was in the bathroom the other day looking in the mirror. She yelled to me "Mom I have my first freckle, I must be growing up!" Oh the innocence, in 10 years she will probably hate all those freckles as much as i did.

Its been far to long since we had family pictures taken, In this picture Bradley is three and where is Katie? So I decided to get our pictures taken but don't know where to go so if anyone has any ideas PLEASE!!! leave a comment.

Dance

Katies Dance teacher had us come and video tape the girls doing there dance so they could practice at home before the recital. Lets hope we got enough practice in. We still have about a week until the recital. Ill post the recital film to so you can see the progress.

Ohh So Beautiful

Yesterday I was talking to Mary on the phone and Katie was really quiet. I should have known something was up. I went to find Katie after hanging up the phone, She was in the bathroom putting on her own makeup. I caught her just in time, she was trying to get the mascara open. She asked me arent I so beautiful. All I could say was YES!

Grandma's

Bradley left yesterday to spend two weeks at Kays mothers. I was soo excited for him to get to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa and two of his cousins. I already miss him. I know its stupid because he spent time there last summer too, he will be just fine. We actually havent told Katie how long he will be gone because all she keeps saying is "I miss my Brother", that and she really has no concept of time yet. While he is here all I hear is Bradley did this and Katie did that. Now the house is just far to quiet. I know once I get back to work on Monday the time will really fly.
