I cannot believe today is the last day of school. Bradley has grown so much and learned so much this year it is amazing. I am soooooo proud of everything he has accomplished this year. He started out the year still not knowing the whole alphabet(trust me we tried) and now is such a great reader. He reads everything billboards, Signs and best of all BOOKS !! He is soo sweet and loves to read Katie her bedtime book. He has worked so hard and we must give thanks to the best teacher in the world Mr Mueller. Bradley also had another great accomplishment, He was the only kid in his class to have perfect attendance!

Swimming Day
The last week of School all the kids in the whole school go swimming at the rec center. I had my mom go watch Bradley( because I am totally paranoid after the little girl drowned last year at a swimming party we were at). He had sooo much fun and my mom got some really cute pics of him and his friends.

Happy Mothers Day
When I got up this morning the kids had made me a mothers day poster on the wall. Bradley did a great job with the spelling. Then they were very eager to give me their presents that they had made at school for me( even though they had already told me what they were).Bradley made me a calendar, including writing the dates and months and days and coloring the pictures that went along with the months. Thats a lot of work for a 1st grader. He also gave me a card with a picture of myself on it and a picture of himself in a frame he decorated. Katie gave me a towel with her hand prints on it wrapped in a cute fake flower( the flower she claimed was hers though). I love both my kids so much.

Its Spring
I love working outside in the yard. I would totally rather mow and trim and weed than shovel snow. Today I worked in the yard all day and basked in the sunlight. I decided yesterday that I would redo my flower bed in the front yard. I picked out a way cool topiary tree and spent all day planting flowers and a hedge. Katie was a great help sweeping all the grass clippings from the sidewalk. Anyway, I am ready to do a lot more of this. Goodbye WINTER !
