Movie Day

We have not taken the kids to a movie for a long time. So on Saturday since it was still a bit chilly outside we decided to do just that. After not being able to agree on a movie and consulting my sister that Bradley could see Indiana Jones we decided to split up. Kaylan and Bradley went and saw Indiana Jones and Katie and I went and saw Kung Fu Panda. Here are our reviews of the Movies and Katies review of the movie preview.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Kay: :"I thought it wasn't as good as the other movies and didn't like the ending."
Since I didn't see this movie I can't agree or disagree

Bradley:" It was Awesome."
Thats all he has said. That and now he wants the new Indiana Jones lego set.


Kung Fu Panda
Jessica:" It has a cute message about liking yourself for who you are, but not really entertaining enough to keep young kids engaged."
We were in and out of the theatre several times and I dont know how many times during the movie Katie changed seats in our row. It was a good thing that the theatre was pretty empty.

Katie: "It was scary."
This just shows how much she paid attention. Even the fighting seens with the "mean leopard" were done with humor.


Katies funny comment on the preview from the new Madagascar Movie.
To set it up; on the screen all the animals are trying to get back to New York and the plane is crashing, The Hippo Is sound asleep and Snoring.
Katie says. " Mom she is snoring on Camera, how embarrasing."
I think everyone in the audience turned and looked at us.

It was a fun afternoon all in all and at least we were inside where it was warm.
