What a week

It was a crazy week at our house with a lot of big changes. Kaylan went back to work for his old boss on Monday. He will still help with the company but more as a side job. The day after the election one of the biggest contractors that they do work for put a hold on every job they are doing and laid off 30% of its own employees. The other stuff that they had lined up is all on hold because of the money being tied up by the banks, Kind of forcing us to look elsewhere. His old boss welcomed him back with open arms and even told him that he wanted to jump for joy but wouldn't because he knew that Kaylan really wanted to do his own thing. It was a big relief to know that he had a job somehere.

Bradley had SEP conferences and for the first time we were told that he is on track. YEAAA! It was the also the first conference where his behavior was not the main focus either so that was a big relief. He use to be the class clown and always disturbing the class.

Bradley also decided to get baptized. He decided that Brent would baptize him. This was seriously his own decision and for that I am very proud of him. He will be baptized on Dec 6th with his good friend Dallin that lives next door to my parents.

Here are just a couple of fun pictures of the kids playing in the leaves last saturday at Grandmas house. They were very excited because we have no trees with leaves.

Kudos to Kaylan for being so good at what he does that he can get a just instantly. I'm glad everything worked out in that department.

Congratulations to Bradley for doing well in school and on his decision to be baptized. He is getting to be all grown up!

Wow, how nice for Kay that he is in such demand. It is always nice to have options.

Good job, Bradley! You are really growing up and making some big decisions.

What fun to have leaves to play in. I miss the playing, but not the raking!

Good job on SEP's Bradley! I hate to say it but I am still waiting for the day when I can go to SEP and not have any problems with Colton!

What a relief to know that Kaylan won't be out of work. I agree that working for yourself is better than working for someone else, but working for someone else is definitely better than not working at all!

Kudos to Bradley for doing well in school and for being mature enough to make big decisions.

Cute pics of your kids and way to go Kaylan for getting what sounds like a great job back. He must be really good at what he does for his boss to be so happy to have him back.

Your kids are growing up too fast! I can't believe how big Bradley is! Congratulations to him on his decision to be baptized. Are we really old enough to have a kid that old? I know I'm not!! ;) That will be a special day for you & your family!

Ok, if miss Katie isn't your clone, then I don't know what is! She is seriously so darling! She looks so happy and so spunky! I bet both kids keep you busy and on your toes!! :) Fun to be keeping in touch this way! (Also, you keep kicking my bum at Scramble! What is up with that?!)
