On Monday the 21st we went to the float preview at the South Towne Expo Center with Sarah and my Mom. They have all the floats that are in the parade on the 24th and you can walk around and look at them up close. You also get to vote on what float was your favorite. My Mom helped build the float for their stake and so we went to see how it looked finished and of course vote for it. Bradley thought that the UPS truck with the flames on it should get his vote and Katie thought the one with the Dragon and the princess was her favorite. It was fun to see them so up close. Seeing them on tv in the parade does not do any of them justice.

Do you still have to go to a parade and sit through the blasted heat for the kids??
It has been so long since I have been there that I forgot about pioneer days on the 24th? I used to love to hit the streets early to get a good seat. You should see the Rose Parade on New Years up close. Went once and need to go again. The smell of the flowers and the thought and time that goes into them in so amazing.
What fun! I didn't know you could get up close and personal with those things.
